Annual suited for beds and pots. Sow February-June for flowers throughout autumn. For pot varieties we advise buying plugs. Asters are very sensitive to wilt diseases. It is necessary to change fields yearly or to disinfect the soil. Avoid excessive water and an impervious soil! Gather cut flowers outdoors from June till October. You can sow outdoors (70 g/100 m²). If sown in plugs, bed out at 32 plants/m². Culture throughout the year is possible in glasshouse at temperatures of 14-16 °C.
