Hardy perennial. Early sowings give flowers the first year. Light germinator, do not cover seeds. Annual production: sow in January. Grow from March onwards in plastic house. Transplant outdoors from April onwards. Flowers in July-September. Biennial production: sow in April-May, overwinter in cold greenhouse in frost-free conditions. To induce flowering, grow at 10-12 °C from January onwards and use extra lighting. Plants will flower from May onwards. Very good garden performance. The tall varieties can be kept for a long time as cut flowers
